My love for running goes back years ago when I came third at a running race organised by our school when I was 12 based on one advice from a relative: “Start slowly and pick up speed towards the end!”. That winning made me confident that “I can be my own coach if I know the right thing to do”. Well, running long distances takes a bit of mindset prior to body strength and stamina, so once I got them all right I managed to run City2Surf (14km) in 57min and Blackmore’s Marathon (42.2km) in 3hr 11min both in Vibram Five Fingers.
The most challenging part in training for these races was at filling the gap between work, family, and the level of fitness required to achieve my goals; on top of that, reversing the impact of years of sedentary job and modern comfortable life style was – and always is – tough too, and now it would be my pleasure to share my experience with you.
I like changing subtle things that result in huge benefits. Based on this notion I run private and group classes honed for running to help people run better. Circuits designed for strengthening your running muscles, improving your running economy, and get you loads of theory to make you become a better runner.
